Men's Soccer Shut out at Lock Haven

BLOOMSBURG— The Bloomsburg University Men's Soccer team fell to Lock Haven University by a score of 5-0 on Saturday.
Lock Haven controlled the game from the start when Paul Huckett scored 4 minutes into the first period, and Colin Callagan scored 15 minutes later when he slid a short pass from Ashely Bosindale past Bloomsburg sophomore goalkeeper David Leiendecker (Easton/Easton). Martin Pletz also added to two goals to pace the Eagles.
The Huskies were led by sophomore Eric Simmonds (Sassamansville/Boyertown) who had four shots, two of them on goal, as well as sophomore Chris Chestnut (West Lawn/Wilson) who had one shot on goal. Leiendecker and senior Jon Keller (Clarks Summit/Abington Heights) combined for seven saves.
The Huskies return to action on Tuesday at 3:30 when they travel to Kutztown to take on the Golden Bears.
